Organization of production centers of goods and services in the public universities of Peru

Abstract

In recent years, the organization of the public university has been in a particular process of modernization. The production centers redefine their internal organization with new strategies for change that arise from governing entities in matters of organization of the State and the Ministry of Education; Therefore, this research investigates the organization of production centers in public universities under the premise of the current regulatory framework. The methodology used was with a qualitative approach, on the other hand it was basic, for the collection of information was bibliographic exploration, providing theoretical contributions related to the topic of study. The documents analyzed focused on the study topic “production centers”, which represented the theoretical basis of the research. It is concluded that at the level of public universities there is still no regulatory framework that defines and/or regulates the organization of production centers or similar. Not having the tool established by the General Directorate of Higher University Education, it is recommended to manage the organization of production centers and similar through those established by the Secretary of Public Management, since the approved Guidelines are within the scope of public universities. This approach emphasizes learning to learn, encourages permanent change, and invites us to rethink organizational advancement in the production centers of public universities.
